Anti-Bullying Parent Workshop

Posted on: 21st March 2024

On Wednesday we held our Anti-Bullying Parent workshops at the start and end of the school day. Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend – there was a very good turn out.

Children at Hayesdown School are very happy and friendly – they are good at supporting one another and resolving conflicts. However we know that at time things can go wrong and we want children to have the resilience and skills to spot bullying if it happens and stand up to it.

Through the workshop we looked at what we do to prevent bullying happening – through or peer supporters, circle times, assemblies, having trusted adults and our PSHRE curriculum. We also explored the steps we take should we have any incident of bullying at school.
