The logo was designed to reflect our school REACH values – we feel it is bright, cheerful, child friendly and represents what our school stands for.
Over the coming year, we will start to use the new logo on all of our correspondence, on the website and any other official documents that relate to our school.
We are also planning to update the school uniform to include the new logo.
Changes to our uniform will not take place until the Summer term (May 2020) – in readiness for the new academic year 2020-2021. However we wanted to share the information with all parents well in advance. We will not be changing the colour of our school uniform – we still love our Hayesdown blue – but we will be changing logo on our jumpers, book bags, t-shirts and other branded items. There will of course be a staggered phase-in of the new uniform when it arrives – we would expect that there will be at least a year where children may wear the current uniform alongside the new uniform. Many families will have jumpers that are handed down from older siblings – which is perfectly acceptable and an environmentally friendly and cost effective thing to do.
We hope everyone likes the new logo and will feel proud to see it being used.
